An 18th century village pub nestled in the cotswold countryside.

The Royal Oak Gretton is a country pub at the heart of the community with crackling log burners and a welcoming bar stocked with carefully sourced ales. Our seasonal menu celebrates local producers and showcases the best of what our part of the Cotswolds has to offer.

It is a perfect spot to take in the expansive views of the Vale of Evesham, after a walk or even a spot of tennis or pickleball. Children, dogs and muddy boots all welcome!

A fun, friendly and relaxed country freehouse and gardens.
Open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner.

stay

Located only a stone’s throw away from Sudeley Castle and Stanway House, the Oak is the perfect place to stay, unwind and recharge whilst you explore the surrounding countryside. Pick from one of three of our shepherd’s huts or the flat above the pub (for families/larger groups).

play

We’ve got the whole family covered! Tennis, Pickleball, Children’s play area and a number of circular walks! For those who hanker for nostalgia from time to time, the evocative chugging of a stream train running along the track at the bottom of the garden is often heard during the Great Western Steam Railways opening times.
